You
stepped up to the challenge, choosing to accept a soldier as one of your
own. You come from all walks of
life: principals, teachers, students,
church ministers and parishioners, lawyers, architects, homemakers, retirees,
veterans, insurance claims adjusters, insurance appraisers, bank employees,
women’s groups, military personnel, native groups, library staff, hospital
employees, doctors, scout and cub packs, and sports teams, to name a few, you
are expressing your support for our Canadian troops in a tangible way.
Kudos
to The Calvert Family for donating and creating the Chosen Soldier website, as

Thank-you
Reverend Matthew Stevens for creating a ‘Chosen Soldier’ brochure; for your
patience during the many revisions to the original. Thanks to the native groups under your
direction, who are sponsoring soldiers.
